SUMAIT UNIVERSITY EMBARKS ON SOFT SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAMME

Zanzibar, Chukwani, (SUN): The Abdulrahman Al-Sumait University has introduced Soft Skills Training Programme for its final year degree students. The programme is facilitated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Amran Rasli and is intended to boost productivity and retention of the University graduates.
The first batch of final year students has passed through the programme which covers Interpersonal Skills, Leadership, Adaptability, Problem Solving, Team Building and Creativity.
The programme also provides training on Resume Writing, Mock Interviews as well as Employability Networks to enhance graduates employment upon graduation, according to a leaflet circulated here.
“The Uniqueness of SUMAIT University in offering Sciences and Arts disciplines coupled with Education means that our graduates have many options to work beyond teaching”.
“Our graduates ability to work in Banks, Government Sector, Manufacturing, Industries is a testament of the dynamic programmes offered by the SUMAIT University”.
The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) has approved Bachelor of Arts with Education and Bachelor of Science with Education programmes for SUMAIT University.
