VC EMPHASIZES STRICT OBSERVATION OF EXAMS REGULATIONS AS EXAMS BEGIN

Zanzibar, Chukwani, (SUN):  As 565 students began a two-week end of academic year final examinations here this week, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Amran bin Md Rasli has emphasized strict observation of examination rules and regulations.

Addressing the academic staff and invigilators ahead of the examinations take off here, Prof. Amran stressed that examinations rules and regulations should be strictly adhered to during the examinations pre and post stages to ensure security and true reflection.

Prof. Amrani emphasized the need to measure the examinations according to the University’s set standards adding that the results should be disseminated through the University set system.

According to the Head of the Examinations Department, Dr. Ali Sunkar, of the 565 examinees  from the Faculties of Science, Arts and Social Studies and  Islamic Studies and Shariah, 230 students are finalists, 130 and 240 students are in their first and second years respectively.

SUMAIT University offers degree programmes in Bachelor of Science with Education, Bachelor of Arts with Education, Diploma of Science with Education, Diploma of Arts with Education and Certificate in Education.
