ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTGRADUATES (MASTERS)

Entry requirements for Master of Arts in Sharia and Islamic

Applicant should have a Bachelor of Islamic Sharia, Bachelor of Islamic Studies with Education, Bachelor of Arts with Education Islamic Studies or Arabic, Bachelor of Islamic Sharia and Law with a minimum GPA of 3.0. or its equivalence with a good command of both Arabic and English languages

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR UNDERGRADUATES (DEGREES)

1.	Bachelor of Arts with Education	Two principal passes in the following subjects: History, English,Geography, Kiswahili, Arabic or Islamic. OR Diploma in Secondary Education with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0 , with a principal pass in Advanced level.
2.	Bachelor of science with Education	Two principal passes in the following subjects: Physics, Advanced Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Geography. OR Diploma in Secondary Education with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0, with a principal pass in Advanced level.
3.	Bachelor of Arts in Counselling Psychology	Two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Literature in English, French, Arabic, Fine Art, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science or Nutrition. OR Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Public Health, Psychiatric, Medicine, Sociology, Social Work, Law, Nursing, Philosophy, Pharmaceutical, Human Resources Management, International Relations, Local Government Administration, Community Development, Procurement and Supply Management, Records Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Theology, Economics, Office Administration, Journalism, Midwifery or Education with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0.
4.	Bachelor of Science in Information Technology	Two principal passes in Physics, Advanced Mathematics, Geography, Biology, Chemistry, Economics or Accounting. OR Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Business Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering with an average of “B” or a minimum GPA of 3.0

Minimum Entry Requirements for Basic Technician Certificate and Technician Certificate in Office Administration

Minimum

i Entry Qualification:

NTA LEVEL: 4

Form IV with at least four passes (excluding Religious subjects) including English language

NTA Level: 5

NTA Level 4 in Office Administration or equivalent Secretarial qualification
OR

Form VI with at least one Principal and a subsidiary pass excluding religious subjects

Minimum Entry Requirements for Basic Technician Certificate and Technician Certificate in Counseling Psychology

Minimum	Entry Qualification:
NTA LEVEL: 4	At least four passes (excluding Religious subjects) in Certificate of Secondary Education Examination
NTA Level: 5	NTA Level 4 in counseling Psychology OR Form VI with at least one Principal and one subsidiary pass excluding religious subjects
