Mandate of University Management

The University Management Committee is the principal executive coordination forum of Abdulrahman Al-Sumait University. Under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, it supports the day-to-day administration of the University and coordinates implementation of decisions made by the University Council and Senate.

The Committee promotes effective use of institutional resources, academic and administrative coordination, accountability, quality assurance, risk management, student and staff welfare, and timely reporting on the implementation of the University’s strategic and operational plans.

TCU Alignment

TCU standards require universities to establish relevant governance organs, including a Management Board, with clear mandates and coordination under the University Charter. The exact composition of the SUMAIT Management Committee must therefore follow the approved Charter, statutes and appointment records.
