FACULTY INTRODUCTION
Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is one
of the SUMAIT University faculties since its inauguration in 2014 after the
approval of the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU). This faculty is
composed of five Departments namely: Department of Linguistics; Department of
Counselling Psychology; Department of Social Studies; Department of Education
and Department of Arabic. Our vision is
to be an internationally renowned Institution of Higher Learning Research,
Innovation and Public.

Biography
Bunyamin Adewale Bello: 1995. Bachelor Degree in Shariah. Islamic University Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 2008. Masters in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh. International Islamic University, Malaysia. 2014. Ph.D. in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh. International Islamic University, Malaysia. Prior to his current role, he served as a senior lecturer in the Department of Finance within the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Terengganu, Malaysia, where he instructed various courses in Islamic Finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, 2015-2018. During his tenure as a part-time lecturer (Graduate Assistant) in various Departments: Economics, Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh and Institute of Education at the International Islamic University Malaysia, where he taught Fiqh for Economists, Introduction to Fiqh, Introduction to Usul al-Fiqh and Islamic Criminal Law. 2009-2014. He has supervised numerous Ph.D. and Masters theses and dissertations.
